CARROLL COUNTY SCHOOL NUTRITION RECOGNIZES 2017 NAC ART CONTEST WINNERS

Mar 15 2017

Each year, the Georgia School Nutrition Association’s Nutrition Advisory Council (NAC) promotes a state wide art contest that is based on the state president’s theme for the year. This year’s theme is “Georgia Grown: Strong Roots, Strong Future”. Three Carroll County students were recognized for their entries.

Artmani Wilkins, a second grader at Sharp Creek Elementary School, won First place at the local level for her illustration of Georgia Grown products. Sahniya Bilkerdyk, a sixth grader at Villa Rica Middle School, and Julia Bernhart, a senior at Villa Rica High School each won First place at the local and district level for their entries. Bilkerdyk’s and Bernhart’s artwork has been submitted to the state level for judging at the Georgia School Nutrition Association Office.
