Carroll County School System Hosts Its First Technology Fair

Carroll County School System hosted its first Technology Fair on Friday, January 4. More than 100 students from grades 3rd through 12th competed in 15 categories, including multi-media programming, robotics, animation, 3-D modeling, and more. Nearly 70 participants qualified to advance to compete at the regional level.
"This event emphasizes the importance of self-directed learning and empowers our students to connect creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration with advanced technology to demonstrate their passion for learning," said Courtney Rogers, Coordinator of Instructional Support for Carroll County School System. "Our administrators, coaches, and judges are very proud of all of the students who competed today, and we look forward to seeing the winners of the district Technology Fair represent Carroll County School System at the next level of competition."
The Regional Technology Competition will be held on Friday, January 18 at the Donald W. Nixon Centre for Performing and Visual Arts in Newnan, Georgia.
