Carroll County Students Win Multicultural Achievement Awards

The Multicultural Achievement Program (MAP) at the University of West Georgia hosted the 33rd Annual Academic Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, March 28, in the Campus Center Ballroom.  940 minority and multicultural students from UWG and 16 area high school students were recognized for their academic achievements.  Shrey Patel, Senior at Bowdon High School; Anissa Ly, Senior at Central High School; Aylanna Livingston, Senior at Temple High School; and Albani Berryhill, Senior at Villa Rica High School each received a certificate and medal for being the top minority senior in their high school for academic achievement. MAP awarded the Academic Achievement Awards to students with a 3.25 or higher.
