Central High School Receives 2017 Cooperative Spirit Sportsmanship Award

Sep 19 2017

Carroll EMC and 23 other participating Georgia electric membership cooperatives congratulate Central High School on winning the Georgia High School Association Cooperative Spirit Sportsmanship Award. This award program honors schools that exhibit exemplary sportsmanship during competitive events, with only one school per division being chosen.  Introduced in 2006, the Cooperative Spirit Sportsmanship Award program reinforces the Georgia High School Athletics’ (GHSA) philosophy which states: Student athletes, coaches, spectators, and all others associated with high school activity programs should adhere to the fundamental values of respect, fairness, honesty and responsibility.  “Please join us in congratulating Central High School on receiving this prestigious award, it speaks well of the entire community and Central Lion family,” Mr. Christopher Justice of Carroll EMC stated.
