Central High School Student Places Third in SkillsUSA National Competition

Central High School Student, Devin Conner, earned a third place finish for Restaurant Service in the Culinary Arts Competition at the 53rd annual National Leadership and Skills Conference. More than 6,000 students from across the nation competed in this year’s competition. Conner received scholarship offers totaling more than $40,000 for his performance.
The SkillsUSA Championships are competitive events showcasing the best career and technical education students in the nation. SkillsUSA improves the quality of America’s skilled workforce through a structured program of citizenship, leadership, employability, technical and professional training.
