WES Students Win First Place at the West Georgia Technology Fair

Jan 18 2017

Whitesburg Elementary School students, Shelby Blazi and Molly Scott, attended the West Georgia Technology Fair this January.

Shelby and Molly rewrote the lyrics, under copyright permission, to the song “What’s that Smell.”  The girls then recorded their new song using the audacity software.  They added verbal expressions, sniffing sounds and maracas to their recording.  After recording, they produced a music video in Windows Movie Maker.  This team won 1st place in the Audio Production category of the fair.  Shelby and Molly will be competing in the state fair this March in Macon.
