BHS Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

Bowdon High School celebrated a ribbon cutting for its new media center and front hall December 5. Also included are a new lobby and front entrance, administrative offices, science lab, classrooms, additional parking and a memory garden. The school hosted Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, City of Bowdon officials and Carroll County Board of Education members for the celebration. Local historian and retired BHS guidance counselor Jan Johnson provided a fascinating look at the history of education in the Bowdon community. The media center includes a large timeline chronicling Bowdon educational history including information about Bowdon College. Thank you to everyone who was involved in this fabulous project!
