Bowdon High FBLA wins at Conference

Congratulations to Bowdon High School Future Business Leaders of America for their achievements at the FBLA State Leadership Conference March 11-13 in Atlanta. Bowdon High School FBLA won Gold Chapter, 8th Place Largest Local Chapter Membership, 3rd Place Market Share Award, Superior Chapter and 5th place overall for Georgia FBLA Chapter of the Year! Laura Edwards was named Region 7 Adviser of the Year.

The following members placed in competition: Jake Duke and Sarah Poe placed 2nd in American Enterprise Project and will advance to Nationals in Chicago this summer. Carlie Bates was named “Who’s Who in Georgia FBLA” for Region 7. Jule Turner, Ashley Olin, Dania Lopez-Sanchez and Magiee Hurtado achieved Leader Level and Advocate Level in FBLA Business Achievement Awards. Isyss Smith, Sarah Bearden, Jule Turner, Ashley Olin, Dania Lopez-Sanchez and Magiee Hurtado achieved Contributor Level in FBLA Business Achievement Awards. Carlie Bates, Douglas Bell, TJ Denney, Jake Duke, Anna Grace Gay, Magiee Hurtado, Ashley Olin, Jacee Pate, Laci Thompson, Jule Turner, and Madeline Wentworth achieved Community Service Award-50 Hour Award Level.
