Aug 01 2022
The Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center (CCSPAC) recently celebrated its 5-year anniversary. Since opening in 2017, the 42,500 square foot, state-of-the-art facility has hosted thousands of performers and patrons. While serving Carroll County students is its top priority, the CCSPAC has welcomed performers from across the nation. From military bands to Broadway stars to tribute bands, the venue has provided premier opportunities for engagement in the fine arts for people of all ages.
In addition to offering school and community events, the CCSPAC also serves as the host site for several other fine arts competitions for Georgia schools, including region literary events and Large Group Performance Evaluations (LGPE). Recently, the CCSPAC was voted Reader's Choice Best Community Music Venue.
"It has been a privilege to serve our schools and community through a variety of events and activities over the past five years," said Charity Aaron, Director of the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center and District Director of Partnerships and Communication. "I am blessed to work with the very best team who is passionate about delivering premier customer service and is committed to our district's purpose of positively changing lives. We are looking forward to many exciting years to come."
