The Carroll County Board of Education is reviewing a proposed amendment to the approved 2019-2020 instructional calendar and the proposed instructional calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.
The amendment to the 2019-2020 instructional calendar is to change spring break in the currently approved version which has the break the week of March 30 - April 3. The amendment would change the break to the first full week in April which would align with Carrollton City and other surrounding school districts. Thus, the district is recommending amending the 2019-2020 calendar to change spring break to April 6-10.
The proposed 2019-2020 instructional calendar amendment and the proposed 2020-2021 instructional calendar will be open for public input until the February 11 Board Meeting.
