Carroll County Educator Recognized by National Organization

American Gold Star Mother’s, Inc. recognized Ms. Marie Pearson, graphic design teacher at the College and Career Academy North Campus, for her volunteer efforts assisting the national organization in the production of its 2019 calendar. The calendar celebrates “90 Years Strong” for the nation’s oldest veterans service organization and could not have been possible without Ms. Pearson’s expertise in graphic design. Ms. Pearson was presented with a certificate from American Gold Star Mothers, a challenge coin, and a calendar. The presentation was made by Cindy Kruger, Past National President, on behalf of the national board.
