Carroll County School System is proud to announce that Madee Boatwright, a 5th grader at Sand Hill Elementary School, Jacey Singleton, an 8th grader at Temple Middle School, and Brooklyn Willis, a 9th grader at Villa Rica High School are the first place winners for Carroll County in the Nutrition Advisory Council (NAC) Art Contest. The students’ artwork will now be entered in the District 6 competition.
The NAC Art Contest is a competition that is held yearly in School Nutrition programs all over our state. Each year, the art contest focus is on the Georgia School Nutrition President’s theme. The theme this year is Grow- Search- Nourish -Achieve- Shake it up in School Nutrition.
Carroll County School System encourages each of our schools to have opportunities available for students to be part of helping promote the school nutrition program and to participate in taste testing of new products and recipes.
