Carroll County School System Hosts 8th Annual Safety Summit

Jul 24 2020

Carroll County School System’s Safety Teams participated in the 8th Annual Safety Summit on Friday, July 24. Each year, the district partners with first responders from local public safety and health agencies to review emergency plans and discuss safety measures in preparation for the school year.

Carroll County School System is a leader in safety and was the first district in Georgia to implement an annual Safety Summit. In addition, the district is implementing the Centegix Crisis Alert System on all campuses this year.

“We appreciate the partnership we share with our local public health and safety agencies,” said Terry Jones, Assistant Superintendent of Administrative and Support Services. “The Safety Summit provides us with a great opportunity to align our efforts to ensure student safety is always a priority.”
