Carroll County School System Hosts District Academic Competition

The Carroll County School System recently hosted its annual Middle and High School District Academic Competitions at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center.

Middle School Winners:

Central Middle School won first place, followed by Bay Springs Middle School in second place, and Temple Middle School finished in third place.

High School Winners:

Villa Rica High School won first place, Mount Zion High School won second place, and Central High School finished in third place.

Dr. Travis Thomas, Director of Teaching and Learning Secondary Education and Assessment and Academic Meet Coordinator shared, “What a fantastic event! Our students arrived prepared, and high-level competition was on display in both the high school and the middle school sessions. Congratulations to our winners at each level.”
