Carroll County School System (CCSS) leaders in partnership with Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement (GLISI) served as guest presenters for the virtual AASA National Conference. CCSS was selected based on the positive impact the district’s social emotional wellness initiatives have had in the lives of students and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. The presentation will serve to assist other school districts with enhancing social emotional wellness strategies across their districts.
Prior to the pandemic, Carroll County School System recognized the direct correlation between social emotional wellness and academic success. The district has and will continue to make social emotional wellness of its staff and students a priority.
