Carroll County School System is partnering with the University of West Georgia to offer two educational and fun-filled camps this week. The “Mathletes” camp is being held at Bays Springs Middle School and focuses on previewing math standards for the upcoming school year, as well as creating excitement about learning math. “Lit Camp” is being held at Sharp Creek Elementary School and offers students the opportunity to build literacy skills and explore the wild world of literature. The students are reading a variety of genres and are engaged in hands-on learning to support creative thinking. Both camps were developed as a community service project through the Carroll County Education Collaborative (CCEC).
