Carroll County School System's Exceptional Children Services (ECS) held the 8th annual "Yes I Can" awards ceremony at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. Tonya Jiles, Director of ECS, served as the emcee for the event. Rosy Guerrero from Central Elementary School led the audience of approximately 500 in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Jayce Sexton of Temple High School provided an inspirational message. Gene Duke was presented with the ECS Community Partner Award for The Carrollton Civitan Club and students of all ages were recognized for their achievements. Additionally, The Central Middle School Wrestling Team and Cross Country Team served as ushers for the event.
