Carroll County School System recently hosted its 2nd Annual Military Enlistee Honors Ceremony at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. The program began with the Presentation of Colors by the Carroll County Air Force JROTC, followed by Sarah Kay, Fairth Spruell, and Sierra Hubbard of Villa Rica High School singing the National Anthem and keynote speaker, Mr. Terry Jones, U.S. Army Veteran and Assistant Superintendent of Administrative and Support Services for Carroll County Schools. Dr. Travis Thomas, Director of Teaching and Learning Secondary Education and Assessment, recognized the nearly 30 enlistees and U.S. Armed Forces Recruiters led the swearing in of each enlistee.
