Carroll County Students Among Top Finishers at GASTC Technology Competition, which was held at Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia.
Carroll County students recently participated in the Georgia Student Technology Competition. Villa Rica High School student, Kaelyn Williams, earned first place in Video Production, Kyle Dean and William Reading from the College and Career Academy South teamed up for a third place finish in the Device Modification category, and Colin Fales of Mount Zion Elementary School earned third place in Graphic Design.
GASTC is a statewide technology competition where students in grades 3-12 compete in a variety of categories to demonstrate their technical skills. The purpose of the competition is to encourage students to become leaders in a digital age.
