Five students from the North Campus of the College and Career Academy are state winners at the Georgia Career and Technical Instruction Student Organization’s 40th Annual State Leadership Competition Conference. Kyndale Ray won 1st place in Floriculture; Allyson Ortiz, Erik Ashogbon and Nauqe Terrell won 1st place in Healthcare Clinical Skills; and Tommy Kendricks won 1st place in Drafting & Design. The Georgia CTI State Leadership Conference was held at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center and is a highlight of our year because it provides an opportunity for students and teachers from across the state of Georgia to demonstrate the projects and skills that have been achieved after a year of hard work and commitment. Seventy-two Georgia High Schools were represented by 410 students in attendance.
