Central Elementary Wins 4th Annual District Reading Bowl

Central Elementary School (CES) won first place at the 4th Annual district’s Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl. The CES Team Sponsor is Mrs. Rosemary Thigpen. Sharp Creek Elementary School (SCES) earned a second place finish with Team Sponsors, Mrs. Cameron Sheldon and Mrs. Alaina Dorrough.

Fourth and fifth graders from all twelve elementary schools participated in the competition hosted by Ithica Elementary. The CES and SCES winning teams will advance to region competition.
