Central High School Wins Second Place at Region 5-AAAA Literary Competition

Central High School students earned second place at the Region 5-AAAA Literary Competition that was held at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center on February 27, 2019. In addition to the second place team finish, CHS students also placed in the following categories: first place in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking and Humorous Interpretation; second place in Duo Interpretation; third place in Girl’s Solo, Dramatic Interpretation, International Extemporaneous Speaking and Trio; and fourth place in Quartet, Boy’s Solo and Personal Essay. First place finishers will compete at the state level in March.
