Central Middle School Has Historic Fall Sports Season

Central Middle School has had a historic fall sports season with its athletes leading the way in several individual and team categories.
Central Middle School’s Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams not only finished the season undefeated but they also won championships at the West Georgia Middle School Cross Country Meet. Outstanding individual performances were highlighted by Tyler Roden, who finished 1st in the boys’ division, and Hannah Hembree, who finished 3rd in the girls’ division. Seven other female runners from CMS also placed in the top ten.
Additionally, both teams competed in the Georgia Middle School Championship and earned their place among the top ten finishers, with the boys’ team placing 4th and the girls’ team placing 8th.
The CMS Softball team defeated Carrollton (12-0) in the league championship to cap off their undefeated season. The B team also completed the season with no losses.
The CMS Volleyball finished a perfect season by winning a league championship for the second consecutive year. The CMS Volleyball B-team also completed an undefeated season.
CMS B team Football players finished with an undefeated record for the regular season, and the playoffs are still underway.
In addition to these extraordinary accomplishments, the Competition Cheerleading squad placed in the top three in all four of their competitions.
