Central Middle School Teacher Named Georgia Teacher Hero Award Winner

Tim Duffey of Central Middle School was one of only three teachers in Georgia chosen as a Grace Ed Technologies, LLC (GET) Hero Award winner. Mr. Duffey was selected because of his extraordinary dedication, effort, character, and compassion for his students.
“Mr. Duffey has positively impacted the lives of many students by setting high expectations, building relationships, and leading by example,” said Scott Cowart, Superintendent of Carroll County School System. “We are grateful to Grace Ed Technologies for choosing to honor him for his hard work and dedication to his students.”
GET presented Mr. Duffey with a Hero Award and a $1,000 prize on May 21st. The Hero Awards support one of GET’s core missions to give back to teachers from their partner districts served.
