Congratulations to the Central Middle School FFA Chapter's Poultry Evaluation Team for their state championship! The Poultry Career Development Event is designed to stimulate learning activities relative to the production and management, processing, marketing and consumption of poultry products. FFA members competing in the Poultry Evaluation CDE participate in a comprehensive event relating to judging, placing, grading and identifying live birds, carcasses, eggs, poultry parts, chicken patties, nuggets or tenders and presenting oral reasons. Team members were Adelyn Cataldo, who was the second high scoring individual at the event, Preston Smith, Levi Layton and Willow Shoemaker. This was the 10th event this year that the Central Middle FFA Chapter had competed in at the state level.
