College and Career Academy Students Earn Top Honors at the 39th Annual CTI State Leadership Competition
Apr 19 2021
Students from the College and Career Academy South recently participated in the 39th Annual Career and Technical Instruction (CTI) State Leadership Competition, and three students finished in the Top 3 in their respective categories. Allyson Ortiz won first place in Healthcare Science Technology for her CPR Demonstration, Jake Tucker won first place in Video Production for his CTI Video, and Anna Nelson won third place in Culinary Arts Professional Foods for her Donut themed cake.
The CTI competitions provide premier opportunities for students to showcase the skills they have learned in Carroll County’s CTAE courses. As part of the competition, students submit an employability skills portfolio containing a cover letter, resume, professional references, and a letter of recommendation. Additionally, students participate in an interview with professional judges.
Congratulations CCA South student winners!
