Carroll County Schools System is pleased to announce that four student athletes were recently recognized as the Most Positive Athlete for their sport by Positive Athlete Georgia.
Reagan Thompson of Bowdon High School won for softball, Caleb Griffis of Central High School earned recognition for basketball, Daiyanna Cooper won for track and field, and Josh Hembree from Villa Rica High School was recognized for tennis. These athletes were chosen from among students in more than 20 counties in the West Georgia area.
Positive Athlete Georgia seeks to recognize and celebrate students who have overcome difficult circumstances, have made significant contributions to their community, and have positive attitudes that improve everyone around them. We congratulate each of these premier athletes and wish them continued success!
