Four Carroll County Educators Honored by GYSTC for Innovative STEM Practices

Four Carroll County educators were honored by the Georgia Youth Science and Technology Centers (GYSTC) for their innovative STEM practices in the classroom. The GYSTC awarded $500 grants to: Dr. Manda Campbell from Providence Elementary School for her project, “Glass Inspired,” Jennifer Carroll from Roopville Elementary School for her project, “Strawberry Fields Forever,” Courtney Chastain from Central Elementary School for her project “Tinkercad 3D Biome,” and Andrea Lawson from Roopville Elementary School for “Pioneer STEM Day.”

Each of these STEM educators will also be recognized at the March 18 Board of Education Meeting.
