Four Carroll County Students Win Top Honors at Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase

Carroll County high school students won 4 out of 5 of the top awards at the Kiwanis Club of Carrollton’s Annual Art and Music Showcase. Sarah King from Bowdon High School won Best in Show for her acrylic titled, “Path to Acceptance,” Emmanuel Ramos from Villa Rica High School earned first place for his graphite, colored pencil drawing titled, “Mourning Bloom,” Jacey Singleton from Temple High School earned second place for her acrylic titled, “A Woman’s Face, and Grace Weathers from Villa Rica High School was awarded fourth place for her acrylic titled, “Sunflower”. In addition to these four students, Carroll County also had six students who received Honorable Mentions.
