Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School Teacher Selected as a Finalist for the GET Teacher Hero Award

Mrs. Gretta Harris, a third-grade teacher at Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School, was selected as one of the twelve finalists for the Grace Ed Technologies (GET) Teacher Hero Award. This award recognizes educators who have exemplified extraordinary dedication, effort, character, and ability for the 2020-21 school year.
Mrs. Harris has taught at Glanton-Hindsman Elementary School for 10 years. She was named GHES Teacher of the Year for the 2015-2016 school year. Throughout the year, she works with youth and young adults at A Place of Refuge Church. During the summer she volunteers at camps and tutors children in the Villa Rica community.
