Horton's Books and Gifts Supports Carroll County School System's Literacy Initiatives

Thanks to the generosity of Horton’s Books and Gifts and Carroll County citizens who supported the Read Across America Campaign, elementary students who are new to Carroll County School System will be receiving a Dr. Seuss, Cooking with the Cat, book when they register for the 2018-2019 school year (while supplies last).

Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on Dr. Seuss’ birthday. We appreciate our community partners supporting this program and the many efforts within our schools to encourage early childhood literacy!
