Important Information: Distance Learning Dec. 14-18
Dec 11 2020
Carroll County School System continues to monitor community data regarding the increase in COVID-19 cases in our area, and we have listened to feedback from our staff members. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to transition to Distance Learning at home for all students beginning on Monday, December 14 through Friday, December 18. We recognize that this is not the ideal situation. However, the health and well-being of our students and staff has and will continue to be our top priority during these challenging times.
Students with Internet access, will need to access Google Classroom for more information about live instruction schedules and student assignments. Specific instructions regarding Distance Learning are available at carrollcountyschools.com under the Parents-Resources tab.
We have WI-FI access for Carroll County students available in parking areas at 9 of our school campuses. Click here for a list of locations. There are signs in the parking lots indicating the WI-FI zones at each location.
If you cannot access the Internet for your child, teachers will work with your student when they return to school in January.
More information will be provided on Monday regarding School Nutrition’s meal program for next week.
Extracurricular activities for our schools and events at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center will continue as previously scheduled for next week with limited crowd sizes, social distancing, and enhanced safety protocols.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work together to keep everyone safe and healthy.
