Ithica Elementary Counselor Earns Grant for Social Emotional Wellness Initiatives

Corinne Hindman, Counselor at Ithica Elementary School, received a $1,000 AT&T Pioneer Grant to support social emotional wellness initiatives for IES students. Hindman has developed lessons that focus on the importance of self-confidence and the uniqueness of every student. Additionally, she has incorporated expressive art into classroom lessons, as well as activities that support the emotional health of students during the pandemic.
