Nationally-known comedienne Anita Renfroe is coming to the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center for a fundraising event for the Community Foundation of West Georgia’s Power of the Purse fund.
Tickets are on sale now for the show, which will be Thursday, August 16, at 7:00 p.m. at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. Tickets range from $25-50 and can be purchased through the Townsend Center online at townsendcenter.org, by phone at (678) 839-4722, or in person at the Townsend Center box office during office hours (Monday through Friday, 10 am – 4 pm). For an additional $25, ticket holders may participate in a VIP reception with Anita before the show. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Community Foundation of West Georgia’s Power of the Purse, a fund that issues grants each year in support of women’s and children’s initiatives in Carroll, Haralson, and Heard counties. More than $75,000 has been granted since 2009.
