Congratulations to five individual Carroll County student athletes and Temple High School for their recognition as West Georgia regional winners by Positive Athlete Georgia.
Adam Stone from Bowdon High School won for Boys Tennis. Kaydence Moore from Mount Zion High School won for Cheer & Gymnastics. Delaney Akins from Temple High School won for Girls Soccer. Connie Tarpley from Temple High School won for Girls Cross Country. Leia Bossie from Villa Rica High School won for Girls Alternative Sport.
Temple High School was named Most Positive School in West Georgia.
Across the region, Carroll County Schools has more students recognized than any other system.
The Positive Athlete organization celebrates young athletes who have overcome difficult circumstances, given back to their schools and communities in a significant way, or just have an infectious positive attitude that makes everyone around them a better person.
