Providence Elementary School Earns National STEM Certification

Carroll County School System held a ceremony to celebrate Providence Elementary School being named a Nationally Certified STEM Campus by the National Institute for STEM Education (NISE). NISE recognizes individual school campuses for their commitment to the growth and implementation of 21st Century and STEM strategies that transform school culture and maximize student achievement.
Additionally, five PES teachers earned individual recognition by NISE as Certified STEM Educators. Christi McLendon, Principal of PES, presented the individual awards to Haleigh Duncan, Maria Scurr, Rachel Robinson, Casey Loveless and Dr. Manda Campbell.
