Happy Read Across America Day! Governor Brian Kemp has highlighted today to encourage all Georgians to help increase childhood literacy and unlock the wonders of reading. Elementary schools across Carroll County are doing their part with special events, contests and guest readers all week. For those who can’t attend in person, we have a special online presentation called “Page Turning Professionals” which features community members from all over sharing books they love. Super Bowl winning assistant coach and Carroll County alumnus Nick Jones shares a favorite book he loves to read to his son. Check it out here!
