Southwire Employees Present Check to Carroll County Schools
Aug 15 2018
Thanks to the generosity of Southwire employees, Carroll County Schools Social Workers now have $5,000 to assist families in need throughout our District. The Southwire Employee Engagement Team began the “Change Up” program as a fundraiser to support the Carroll County School System. “Our efforts continued to multiply--employees all came together to sell shirts, collect change, and generate friendly competition,” said Rob Dailey, Extruder Operator for Southwire. “We are very excited to be able to support the great work that Carroll County Schools Social Workers are doing for our community.”
Denise Kuzy, Lead Social Worker stated, "These funds will help many families in our school system. Providing assistance to those who are facing challenges helps ensure that their children will have important resources and can maintain good attendance at school.”
