Students take top honors at Kiwanis Art Show

Carroll County Schools students took top honors in the Carrollton Kiwanis Club's Juried Art Show on February 5. The Kiwanis Foundation presented $1,500 in scholarships to students who submitted art in the juried art show.
Nat Proksell, senior at Central High School, won Best in Show and a $500 scholarship for Growth and Decay.

Cecilie Redding, Visual Arts Technical Assistant; Marcella Kuykendall, Visual Arts Coordinator, and Nat Proksell, senior, Central High School.
Itzel Trujillo, senior at Villa Rica High School, won first place and a $400 scholarship for El Jaguar Dauzante.
Zarrian Bowen, sophomore from Villa Rica High School, won second place and a $300 scholarship for Process.
