Three Bowdon High School students received a surprise call on Friday, December 4, from the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Steve McLaughlin. McLaughlin called to personally congratulate each of them on their acceptance into Georgia Tech through its Early Action admission program. High school students from Georgia have the opportunity to apply for admissions through the Early Action program and receive their acceptance decision during the month of December.
Luke Rainwater plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration, Emily Stone will major in Industrial Engineering, and Reagan Thompson plans to study Biomedical Engineering.
