THS History Club wins national honors

The Temple High School History Club has been recognized by the National History Club as a National Chapter of the Year. Out of hundreds of clubs with nearly 20,000 members from coast to coast, THS's 52-member club is one of only five clubs around the country to be named Chapter of the Year. The students' passion and commitment to bringing history alive have allowed them to engage with veterans of foreign wars, the Civil Rights movement, and a survivor of 9/11. They worked to get classmates and local citizens registered to vote and made it a point to work with local veterans. Congratulations on this national recognition!
