Two Carroll County Educators Recognized as GYSTC 2021 STEM Scholars

Congratulations to Mrs. Andrea Lawson of Roopville Elementary School and Mrs. Courtney Chastain of Central Elementary School for being recognized as a GYSTC 2021 Georgia STEM Scholar for their outstanding work to engage and improve student learning in STEM disciplines! As a part of this special recognition, each educator will receive a $500 grant to purchase STEM education materials for their classrooms.

GYSTC is a private, not-for-profit educational organization designed to increase interest in and enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as subjects for serious study for K-8 grade levels teachers and students. It is headquartered at Kennesaw State University with regional centers and programs across the state.
