Villa Rica Elementary School has earned its District STEM Certification after successfully integrating STEM as a part of its instructional design following school-wide professional learning that equipped teachers with strategies and activities towards STEM-based learning.
“I am extremely proud of our staff for attaining District STEM Certification as it is an integral part of how we provide premier learning experiences for our students,” Villa Rica Elementary School Principal Alison Lyle said. “Striving to demonstrate talent, heart, and excellence in all that we do is a part of who we are at Villa Rica Elementary. We Are VR!”
Villa Rica Elementary School plans to seek National STEM Certification during the 2023-2034 school year.
