The new stadium also has a capacity of more than 4,000 and a brand new stadium concourse with a large concession area and restroom facilities.
“We are very excited to celebrate such a special occasion in the history of Villa Rica High School,” stated Seth Rogers, Principal of Villa Rica High School. “The Board of Education’s commitment to investing in this premier facility will positively impact the lives of our students for many years to come.”
The dedication ceremony included recognition of community members, past and present board members, vendors, district leaders, and school staff who have played a vital role in the advancement of Wildcat athletics. Additionally, a tribute video was shared highlighting the history of Sam McIntyre Stadium and the progression of the renovation project.
Scott Cowart, Superintendent of Carroll County School System added, “We are appreciative to everyone who has been part of this extensive project to ensure that our students, fans, and the community have premier opportunities and exciting game day experiences.
