Villa Rica High School Educator Earns Grant to Support Innovative Learning Initiatives

Annie Butler, Science Department Chair for Villa Rica High School, recently received a $2,000 grant from Wal-Mart to purchase technology enhanced physics lab equipment. The new equipment will be used to teach motion, force, momentum, collisions, centripetal force, friction, and Newton’s Laws. The enhanced technology features provide students with the ability to connect the equipment wirelessly to their Chromebooks to immediately access data analysis. Thank you Wal-Mart for supporting innovative learning for our students!
