Villa Rica High School Graduate Earns State Recognition

Ruben Rivadeneira, Valedictorian of Villa Rica High School's Class of 2018, will be honored by State Superintendent Richard Woods for "Excellence in Achievement". Rivadeneira was recognized as a 2018 ESOL Star English Learner earlier this year. On October 16, he will attend a reception at the Georgia Department of Education in Atlanta for achieving both ESOL Star Learner status, as well as, for being Valedictorian of his senior class. Rivadeneira is currently attending Georgia Tech where he is pursuing a degree in Computer Science.
