Villa Rica Middle School Takes Top Awards at District Perennial Math Competition

Villa Rica Middle School is pleased to announce that its 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams won first place in the Perennial Math District Competition held at Alexander High School on Saturday, November 9, 2019. These three teams have now qualified for the National Competition to be held in May.
Additionally, Villa Rica Middle School earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the 8th grade individual competition, 2nd and 3rd place in the 7th grade individual competition, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in the 6th grade individual competition. These students also qualified for the National Competition as individual winners.
The VRMS Perennial Math Team is coached by Suzanne Palagano and Kym Hilbert. The team members are Ansley Kever, Chole Sherrer, Brittnie Warrick, Madison Collins, Braylynn Wynn, Zarriah Bowen, Aubrie Isbu-Ward, Ezra Miahnahri, Austin Nye, Malia Bragg, Owen Wilkinson, Papa Aye-Addo, Shiloh Sherrer, Noah Grace, Jamie Clark.
