VRES Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

Villa Rica Elementary School celebrated a ribbon cutting October 24. Along with a new two-story, 18-classroom addition, the campus has undergone extensive renovations including a connector hall, demolition of the oldest classroom building in the county, a new pickup lane and courtyard. Community leaders from City of Villa Rica, Carroll County government and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce joined school administrators, teachers and students for the festivities which included a performance from the school chorus.
