We are very excited about the start of another premier year in Carroll County!
Our commitment to positively changing lives is the foundation for everything we do and has led to tremendous success. This past school year, Carroll County students outperformed other local school systems and districts around the state in many areas on the Georgia Milestones Assessments, the district graduation rate was over 90% for the second consecutive year, and our schools continued to advance in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) educational initiatives.
In addition to the aforementioned achievements, this year we are expanding our strategic priorities to include an emphasis on the social-emotional wellness of all students and a future focused awareness to prepare students for life after graduation. Our teachers, administrators, and staff have participated in Capturing Kids’ Hearts training from the world’s leading accelerator of organizational and personal growth in schools and organizations, as well as many other professional development opportunities to ensure student success.
