Whitesburg Elementary Named Governor’s Office of Student Achievement Platinum Award Winner

Whitesburg Elementary School (WES) was recently named a Governor’s Office of Student Achievement (GOSA) Platinum Award winner for Greatest Gains. This is the second consecutive year that WES has earned this award. GOSA selects schools based on a three-year average CCRPI Progress Score, and WES was in the Top 1% for the state.

“This recognition shows the sustained focus and commitment to serve every student, every day,” said Lindsey Long, Principal of Whitesburg Elementary School. “I am very proud of our students, staff, and teachers for their dedication to being premier.”
